Depending on where you are in Italy, a Christmas table can look quite different. Every region, province and of course every family has their own holiday traditions and dishes. On Christmas morning, you’ll typically find Laura working away in the kitchen preparing Gnudi, the naked ravioli of Tuscany!! She shared her recipe for gnudi with a butter and sage sauce in a recent Facebook Live. 

This will be a holiday season like no other with less travel and smaller gatherings and most likely we’ll all be seeking ways to celebrate and stay connected with our friends, family and perhaps colleagues from far.

Get ready to take a trip down the rabbit hole with the new release of our Sei Chianti Classico Gran Selezione. This wine continues to take our breath away with each new vintage and the 2017 is no exception. 

A few weeks ago Laura prepared a lovely selection of appetizers during one of our Facebook Live Cooking Demos. On the menu were a crostone with salsiccia and stracchino cheese (a toasted piece of Tuscan bread topped with pork sausage and stracchino cheese), a classic bruschetta and a crostino (a more bite-sized version of a "crostone") with fresh fava beans and Pecorino cheese. 

This past Saturday Laura shared her recipe for this classic Italian dessert with ladyfingers during another one of our Facebook Live Sipping Sessions. As always, she puts her own twist but with an eye towards tradition. The beauty of her Tiramisu is the lovely balance it strikes between being incredibly decadent but also light and airy.

Laura kindly opened up her kitchen once more to join Jacopo and Mary for another Facebook Live Sipping Session. This time she shared her Florentine-inspired ragu recipe.
 

We know many of you have been anxiously awaiting the new release of our Furtivo rosato and the wait is over. It’s time for sunny, rosé-filled days with our 2019 vintage. 

We had a visit from Kristy Wenz of Winetraveler, a fast-growing wine-travel focused media company. 

She put together an amazing 5-day itinerary in the Chianti region, featuring Querceto as the place to stay and provide a number of other fantastic recommendations. 
 

We received some excellent news to end the year for us at Querceto from our friends at Wine Spectator. The Sei Chianti Classico Gran Selezione 2015 was given 94 points and was featured in their member’s only Insider Newsletter as one of the most exciting news wines tasted by their editors.
