Our Summer Vineyard Dinners - 2024 Edition! 
June 15th, July 13th, August 3rd & September 7th

The wait is over and it’s time to book your seats at our dreamy table among the vines this summer.  

As always, expect an evening of good times, lively conversation, live music, lots of laughter and a touch of magic. Once again, the brilliant team from Albergaccio di Castellina will craft the most delicious of menus for each of our Vineyard Dinners. 

Our incredibly talented florists, Marielou Piante e Fiori and Winston & Winston Floral Design, are already coming up with ideas for each table scape that are truly what Tuscan dreams are made of. 

Calligrapher and creative extraordinaire, Betty Soldi, will also add a bit of whimsy and wonder to our Vineyard Dinners this summer as well. 

We hope you can join us for an evening that you will surely remember for years to come. 

EVENT DETAILS

Aperitivo is on the winery terrace with some tasty bites and vino. Seated dinner in the vineyard served with a selection of 3 red wines. Coffee, amari and grappa served back on the winery terrace to end the evening.  

140 Euro/person for aperitivo, 4-course dinner + wines, coffee and after dinner drinks 
Aperitivo @ 7pm, Seated Dinner @ 8pm. Reservations and pre-payment required via our online booking system. Limited seats.

Cancellation Policy + Bad Weather: In the case of rain/bad weather the day of the event, the dinner will be moved indoors to the restaurant of Albergaccio di Castellina (a 10-minute drive from the winery). Due to the nature and demand of these events, we can offer a refund up to 2 weeks prior to the event date in the case of cancellation.  

Seating: We do put together a seating chart for the Vineyard Dinner so please let us know if you have any friends, family, etc. that have booked separately that you’d like to be seated with/next to. Otherwise, we can’t guarantee you’ll be seated together.

Aperitivo with tasty bites on the winery terrace

Seated dinner in the vineyard 

  • Crespelle gratinate ripiene di asparagi di bosco con fonduta di parmigiano e zafferano del Chianti (Crespelle filled with wild asparagus and served with a Parmigiano fondue and saffron from Chianti)
  • Mezzemaniche al sugo di anatra e scaglie di pecorino stagionato (Mezzemaniche pasta with a duck ragout and shavings of aged Pecorino cheese)
  • Taglio di bistecca Chianina alla griglia con caponata di melanzane e fagioli all’olio evo (grilled Chianina steak served with an eggplant caponata and white beans seasoned with evoo)
  • Semifreddo di fragole e cioccolato bianco con granita di Furtivo rosè (semifreddo with strawberries, white chocolate and a granita of our Furtivo rosé wine)

Seated dinner in the vineyard:

  • Ravioli Maremmani ripieni di ricotta fresca e spinaci, burro, parmigiano ed essenza di salvia (Ravioli Maremma-style filled with ricotta and spinach, butter, Parmesan cheese and essence of sage
  • Risotto ai peperoni arrosto, lardo di cinta senese, noci tostate e soffice di caprino (Risotto with roasted peppers, Cinta Senese lardo, toasted walnuts and a touch of goat cheese)
  • Rollè di pollo alla cacciatora con zucchine grigliate alle erbe aromatiche e crumble di frutta secca (Chicken roll “hunter’s” style with grilled zucchini, aromatic herbs and a crumble of dried fruits)
  • Cheesecake con biscotto di mandorle e salsa di albicocche (cheesecake with an almond crust and apricot sauce)

 Aperitivo with tasty bites on the winery terrace

 Seated dinner in the vineyard:

  • “Condito del Chianti” con giardiniera fatta in casa, maionese all’olio evo e salsa verde (pork cured in oil with home-made pickled vegetables, mayonnaise of olive oil and a green sauce)
  • Gnudi di ricotta e spinaci gratinati con salsa di pomodoro fresco, pecorino e basilico (spinach and ricotta gnudi with a tomato sauce, Pecorino cheese and basil)
  • Baccalà grigliato sui limoni, crema di fagioli toscanelli, cipolle in agrodolce e leggera salsa aromatica (grilled cod served with lemons, Toscanelli white beans, sweet and sour onions and a light aromatic sauce)
  • Zuccotto toscano con zabaione al Vin Santo (Tuscan zuccotto with Vin Santo flavored zabaione)

Seated dinner in the vineyard:

  • Ravioli di pecorino toscano con vellutata di cipolla di Certaldo e tartufo estivo (ravioli filled with Tuscan Pecorino and served with a puree of onions from Certaldo and summer truffles)
  • Risotto cremoso alla zucca, pistacchi salati e limone confit (creamy pumpkin risotto with salted pistachios and confit lemon)
  • Carrè di cinghialetto arrosto, patate al cartoccio e funghi porcini (roasted loin of wild board, baked potatoes and porcini mushrooms)
  • Zuppa inglese con savoiardo fatto in casa, crema leggera alla vaniglia e gelatina di Alchermes (trifle with homemade savoiardi, cream with a hint of vanilla and an Alchermes jello)
