We honestly were not planning to host our Vineyard Dinners again this summer of 2020 but we received so many calls and emails inquiring about them that we simply could not resist. Join us to wine and dine among the vines on July 18th, August 15th and September 5th.

Antipasti Toscani
A few weeks ago Laura prepared a lovely selection of appetizers during one of our Facebook Live Cooking Demos. On the menu were a crostone with salsiccia and stracchino cheese (a toasted piece of Tuscan bread topped with pork sausage and stracchino cheese), a classic bruschetta and a crostino (a more bite-sized version of a "crostone") with fresh fava beans and Pecorino cheese.

Tiramisu
This past Saturday Laura shared her recipe for this classic Italian dessert with ladyfingers during another one of our Facebook Live Sipping Sessions. As always, she puts her own twist but with an eye towards tradition. The beauty of her Tiramisu is the lovely balance it strikes between being incredibly decadent but also light and airy.

Lasagna with Zucchini & Pesto
Laura’s lasagna simply melts in your mouth with every bite and as you can imagine, it is for sure a favorite among our guests at Querceto. Her recipe calls for delicate, thin sheets of egg noodles beautifully layered between a creamy, flavorful bechamel sauce mixed with pesto and zucchini.

Laura’s penne pasta with pancetta, porcini mushrooms and black olives is a rustic dish that surely falls into the category of comfort food for us.

We received some excellent news to end the year for us at Querceto from our friends at Wine Spectator. The Sei Chianti Classico Gran Selezione 2015 was given 94 points and was featured in their member’s only Insider Newsletter as one of the most exciting news wines tasted by their editors.
New Wine Release
Introducing Venti
This new additional to our portfolio was crafted in celebration of the 20th anniversary of Querceto di Castellina. It is a bold, yet elegant wine showcasing the best of our Sangiovese and Merlot grapes. With only 800 bottles, Venti is a special, limited release wine and will only be available exclusively from the winery.

The Evolution of Querceto
It was the fall time 20 years ago that we handpicked and selected the grapes to go into the very first vintage of the L’aura Chianti Classico from Querceto di Castellina.
In celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Querceto winery, we’ve evolved the “look” of our organic estate and redesigned the logo and wine labels.

This fall is the 20th anniversary of the very first harvest at Querceto di Castellina. We’re extremely proud of the past 20 years and are thrilled to say we have some great momentum as we enter the 3rd decade of winemaking at our organic estate.
