The adventure begins at first sight with the Furtivo rosato 2020 - Light and bright, with the color of peach skin.
Though ‘sneaky’ in it’s easy drinkability, the wine has an innocence about it with joyful, playful aromas reviving childhood memories of endless summers, the refreshment of cherry popsicles, strawberries picked right from the plant and fields of warm grass dotted with wild mint and fresh citrus slices bobbing amongst perfectly chilled glasses of iced tea.
The wine smells beautifully peachy too - subtly sweet and perfumed, of ripe Saturn peaches strewn with fragrant basil leaves.
On the palate things become cosmic, taking you on a journey up in the clouds.
The summer fruits are present but are certainly not overpowering or heavy. Refreshing acidity enhances a sensation of lightness with the ripe fruit flavors feeling weightless, encouraging visions of a giant peach sailing through skies harnessed to hardworking seagulls by threads of silk.
Enjoy our 100% Sangiovese rosé on its own, with a magical book, or colorful salads of beetroot and feta, asparagus and Parmigiano, and certainly burrata, basil and peaches.
