Venti is a wine we crafted in celebration of the 20th anniversary of Querceto di Castellina. It is a bold, yet elegant wine showcasing the best of our Sangiovese and Merlot grapes.
Venti translates to "winds" and is also the number twenty in Italian, so a name strategically tied to a significant milestone for us and representing one of the strong natural elements at our Tuscan wine estate.
A Vintage To Be Remembered
2015 was a phenomenal year here in Tuscany and presented ideal conditions and the opportunity to produce a refined, age-worthy and collectible wine.
TASTING NOTES
Barrel aging the best selection of our Sangiovese and Merlot in French oak for twenty months, followed by one year of bottle aging has resulted in a wine of impressive character and graceful complexity. This refined, beautifully balanced wine has the fruit, structure and depth to continue to develop and evolve for many years with careful cellaring.
With only 800 bottles, Venti is a special, limited release wine and is available exclusively from the winery.
